Content Editor Manual Overview
The Content Editor in your application is a powerful tool designed for the creation, editing, and publishing of articles. It streamlines the content generation process, allowing you to leverage AI for rapid content creation, then refine it, and finally publish it directly to your WordPress sites. The workflow is structured into three main stages: Generate, Edit, and Publish.
Key Features:
- AI Content Generation (Step 1: Generate):
- AI Content Form: This is the core interface for setting detailed parameters and instructions for the AI to produce content.
- LLM Provider & Model Selection: Choose from various AI models (such as OpenAI, OpenRouter, Claude) and specific model versions (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude Opus) to achieve your desired content quality and style.
- Business Information: Input your business name, address, phone number, website, and Google My Business (GMB) details. The AI can integrate this information into the generated content.
- Content Settings: Configure the type of content (e.g., blog post, product description), language, word count, tone of voice, and structural elements (number of H2 headings, lists, FAQ sections, etc.).
- Advanced Options: Enable additional features like Key Takeaways, conclusions, blockquotes, tables, literary devices, instructions to avoid “AI-sounding words,” or bolding key phrases for readability.
- Custom Prompts: Utilize your saved custom prompts to provide highly specific instructions to the AI for particular sections of the content.
- URL Analysis: Analyze existing web pages to generate new content based on their structure and topics.
- Content Editing (Step 2: Edit):
- Rich Text Editor (ReactQuill): After content is generated, you can refine it using an intuitive What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor. This includes formatting options such as headings, bold, italic, lists, links, and blockquotes.
- Title & Excerpt: Edit the main article title and add a concise summary or excerpt.
- Featured Image: Assign a featured image to your content. You have options to upload a local file, provide an image URL, or generate an image using AI.
- Save Draft: Save your content as a draft within the application’s content library for future use or further editing.
- Content Publishing (Step 3: Publish):
- Publish Status: Select whether to publish your content as a “Draft” (saved but not publicly visible) or “Publish” (immediately visible on your site).
- Target Sites: Choose one or more of your connected WordPress sites where you wish to publish the content.
- Category Assignment: For each selected target site, you can assign a specific category under which the content will be published.
- Publish to Sites: With a single click, send your content to the selected WordPress sites.
- Content Storage Limit: The editor tracks your total number of stored articles and provides warnings if you are approaching or have reached your content storage limit.
Integrations:
- API Keys: Requires API keys for services like OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Claude for AI content generation. These are configured in the “Settings” section of the application.
- WordPress Sites: Integrates with your WordPress sites to facilitate direct content publishing and category management.
The Content Editor provides an all-in-one solution for efficiently producing and distributing high-quality content.
